The University Grants Commission has recently issued a notification stating that staff will be recruited in the university regulatory body. UGC is going to fill the vacancies with a salary of Rs 50,000-70,000. They will hire staff on contract basis to fill some vacancies, the notification said. UGC urges willing and qualified candidates to apply.

The recruitment process will be completed on contract basis to fill the vacancies in the posts of "CONSULTANT (International Cooperation)" and "CONSULTANT (Neep)". The future depends on the evaluation of work efficiency after hiring the candidates on the basis of one year contract. If the selection committee thinks so, they can extend the contract after one year.

Candidates have to apply by filling up the form online at UGC's website. The application process can be done by 12 midnight on May 31, 2021. Applications after the specified date will be rejected. UGC has informed that one candidate will be selected for each of the two posts of Consultant. Where the total number of posts is 2. 

Vacancy:

CONSULTANT (International Cooperation) - There are 1 vacancy. 

CONSULTANT (Neep) - There are 1 vacancy. 

Educational Qualification: Which position you can apply for depends on your qualifications.

CONSULTANT (International Cooperation) - To apply for this position the applicant must have the following degree:

1. Passed first class in postgraduate degree in political science from a recognized university / educational institution.

2. Must have that international specialization with.

3. Must have skills on Computer Application. 

CONSULTANT (Neep) - To apply for this position:

1. Must have passed first class in post graduate degree on education from a recognized university / educational institution.

2. Education has been asked to pass the NET exam.

3. In this case also you have to have skills in Computer Application.

Salary:  50,000 / - to 70,000 / - 

(Salary will be fixed on the basis of merit and work efficiency in both the posts) 

Recruitment process:

The recruitment process for the post will be completed by verifying the qualifications through the selection committee.
