A few days ago, the central government of India extended the deadline for linking PAN cards with Aadhaar cards. The deadline was extended from March 31 to June 30, 2021. The date was extended due to the Covid epidemic session.

As announced earlier, if anyone does not link the Aadhaar card with the PAN card, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000. The guideline was recently added to the Income Tax Act 1961 when the Finance Bill was passed in 2021.

First   visit    the   official  website of  Income Tax Department, www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.

Then, you will see an option as “Link Aadhaar” on the homepage. Next, you need to click on this section. After clicking, a new window will open automatically. There it will show the section "If you have already submitted the Link Aadhaar request, click here to view the status". Finally, you should click this button to check the status of your 'Aadhaar and PAN card link'.
