Indian Postal Department extended the deadline for applying for 2488 posts

The Indian Postal Department had issued a notification a few days back. The aim is to fill the vacancies in the posts of rural postal workers. The application process has already begun. Even after that, the postal service extended the scheduled date for submission of applications.

A few days ago, on April 27, 2021, the application process started on the official website of the Indian Postal Department. The last date for accepting applications is currently extended till June 10, 2021

Total Vacancies :

There are a total of 2488 vacancies for Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster and other posts.

Age :

To apply at the Indian Postal Department, the applicant must be between 18 and 40 years of age.

Qualifications :

1. Must have passed 10th from a recognized school board of education.

2. Must have passed 10th class in Mathematics, Local Language and English.

3. Must be accustomed to using local language.

Application Fee :

1. Application fee for UR / OBC / EWS is 100 rupees.

2. Women, SC / ST will not be charged.

Selection Process and Salary :

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list, the Indian Postal Department said.The salary for both the posts will be between Rs 10,000 to Rs 14,500 .
