New updates of UGC Net 2021 : Re-announced for application submission date

Re-announced UGC Net 2021 application submission date. Candidates will be able to register from 10 August to 5 September 2021. UGC Net is a national level entrance examination conducted by NTA. This exam determines eligibility for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) & Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor only.   

Candidates who successfully pass the examination are considered for appointment as Assistant Professor or JRF in universities and colleges. Here are the details about UGC NET 2021 exam date, pattern, exam fee, application procedure etc.  

Important Dates : 

Registration> 10 August, 2021 - 5 Sept, 2021 

Exam Fee> 6 September, 2021 

Application form correction> 7 Sept, 2021 

Admit Card Download> Will available soon in official website of Ugc Net 

Exam> 06 October, 2021 -  11 October, 2021 

UGC NET 2021 Exam pattern - 

Exam mode and Exam papers :  

The UGC NET 2021 exam will be held in CBT mode. Candidates will have to appear for a total of two papers. One is a general paper and the other is a subject paper.  

Exam time:   

A total of 3 hours(180 minutes) will be allotted.  

Questions and Question Values:   

The two papers will have a total of 150 questions. Paper 1 will have 50 questions and Paper 2 will have 100 questions.  

The paper will have a total marks of 300. Where Paper 1 will have 100 marks and Paper 2 will have 200 marks.  

Marking pattern and negative marking:   

Two(2) numbers are assigned for each correct answer. In this case there will be no negative marking.  

UGC NET 2021 Application Process:  

Students must have all the required documents ready before applying for the UGC NET 2021 application form.  

Candidates must first have a valid email ID and mobile number. Candidates have to complete the registration process by providing their name, mobile number, email id and some other information. Then you will get the application number.  

After registration, complete online application form has to be filled correctly and carefully.  

Students will then need to upload their own JPEG / JPG mode image and scanned image of the signature. After uploading, candidates must make available payment.  

For any future reference, print out of the application form and fee receipt.  

UGC NET Application Fee:  

UN / GENERAL CANDIDATES - Rs. 1000 / -  

GENERAL– EWS / OBC- NCL  Candidates - Rs. 500/-  

ST/ SC/ PWD/Transgender - Rs. 250/-  

UGC Net application fee can be paid through debit or credit card / net-banking / PAYTM.
