Oil India Limited, approved by the Government of India, will be recruiting for various posts on full contract basis. The notification has already been published. The notification said that candidates will be appointed in the head offices of various states including West Bengal. Candidates can apply from any district in West Bengal.  

1> Assistant Welder:  

Vacancies - 01  

Educational Qualifications- 

Secondary pass from government approved educational institution and trade certificate in welder. Must have at least two years of experience in welding job and gas cutting related job or portable grinding machine job relationship.  

Age-

The age of the candidate for this post should be between 18 to 30 years. Also reserved candidates will get age discount as per government rules.  

Salary - Rs. 16,640 per month.  

2> Assistant Filter:  

Vacancies - 2  

Educational Qualifications- 

Secondary pass from government approved educational institution and trade certificate in welder. Must have at least two years experience in the work of pump set, iron removal, fabrication of pipeline, water supply set up.  

Age-

The age of the candidate for this post should be between 18 to 30 years. Also reserved candidates will get age discount as per government rules.  

Salary - Rs. 16,640 per month.  

3> Assistant Diesel Mechanic:  

Vacancies - 5  

Educational Qualifications- 

Secondary pass from government approved educational institution and trade certificate to diesel mechanic. Must have at least two years experience in Oil and Gas Industry Maintenance of Diesel or Gas Engine / Reciprocating or Centrifugal Pump Set / Reciprocating or Screw Air Compressor.  

Age- 

The age of the candidate for this post should be between 18 to 30 years. Also reserved candidates will get age discount as per government rules.  

Salary- 16,640 per month  

4> Electrical Supervisor:  

Vacancies - 5  

Educational Qualifications- 

Secondary pass from a recognized board approved by the Government of India and a three year diploma in Electrical Engineering from a government approved polytechnic. Must have at least three years of working experience in drilling or walkover work.  

Age-

The age of the candidate for this post should be between 18 to 30 years. Also reserved candidates will get age discount as per government rules.  

Salary - Rs. 19,500 per month.  

5> Gas logger:  

Vacancies - 8  

Educational Qualifications- 

Must have at least one year of work experience in higher secondary pass and gas logging from any board or university approved by Government of India.  

Age-

The age of the candidate for this post should be between 18 to 30 years. Also reserved candidates will get age discount as per government rules.  

Salary - Rs. 16,640 per month.  

6> Assistant rig electrician:  

Vacancies - 10  

Educational Qualifications- 

Secondary pass from a recognized board approved by the Government of India and a two-year course in electrician trade. Must have at least two years of working experience in drilling / walkover.  

Age-

The age of the candidate for this post should be between 18 to 35 years. Also reserved candidates will get age discount as per government rules.  

Salary - Rs. 16,640 per month.  

7> Chemical Assistant:  

Vacancies - 10  

Educational Qualifications- 

Must have a Bachelor of Chemistry from a government recognized accredited university and have at least one year of experience in Chemical Activity Field / Lab in Upstream Oil and Gas Industry.  

Age- 

The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 40 years.  

Salary - Rs. 19,500 per month.  

8> Assistant Mechanics Pump:  

Vacancies - 17  

Educational Qualification - 

Government Pass Certificate in Secondary Pass and Mechanic Diesel / Fitter Trade. At least two years working experience in Assistant Mechanic (Pump).  

Age-

The age of the candidate for this post should be between 18 to 35 years.  

Salary - Rs. 16,640 per month.  

9> Drilling rigman:  

Vacancies - 26  

Educational Qualifications- 

Any TET Certificate approved by Government of India with Secondary Pass. At least four years of working experience in drilling rig.  

Age-

The age of the candidate for this post should be between 18 to 35 years.  

Salary - Rs. 16,640 per month. 

10> Assistant Mechanic - ICE:  

Educational Qualifications- 

Trade Certificate in Mechanical Diesel with Secondary Pass. At least two years working experience in ICE engine equivalent field.  

Age- 

In case of the above three posts, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 35.  

Salary - Rs. 16,640 per month.  

Application Procedure : 

Interested candidates should submit their own bio data along with all educational qualification documents to the specified address before the Skill Test date of Walking Practical / Personal Assessment. The following documents must be submitted.  

a) Current one copy color photo. 

b) Identity proof and address proof. 

c) Secondary marksheet, admit and certificate. 

d) Certificates and marksheets of other educational qualifications. 

e) Caste certificate in case of reserved candidates.

Selection Procedure : 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Practical Number and Skill Test of Personal Assessment. Candidates for each post will be recruited on a full 6 month contract basis.
