CTET Application notification


Notice of CTET Exam Application has been published. Central Government has issued a notification for this examination for teaching in all primary and secondary schools. Candidates can apply only if they are Indian citizens. CTET Exam Notification, December 2021. 

Examination is done in two papers of CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test). Paper-1 is a test for teaching from class I to V and Paper-2 is a test for teaching from class VI to VII. Candidates can apply in two papers as per their qualifications.  

Application deadline:  


The application process for teaching posts in the primary and secondary schools of the Central Government started on 20 September 2021 and the last date of application was 19 October 2021.  

Educational Qualifications-  


Paper- I: 

i) Must have passed 2 years D.El.Ed course with high pass, with at least 46 percent marks.  

ii) Candidates who are studying in the final year of D.El.Ed course can also apply.  

iii) Or, have passed 4 years B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education) course with at least 50 percent marks.  

iv) Or, have passed 2 years D.El.Ed course with graduation in any branch.  

Paper- II:  

i) Must have passed 2 years D.El.Ed course with graduation in any branch. 

ii) Or, must have passed 1 year B.Ed course with graduation pass, with at least 50 percent marks.  

Application Procedure-   


Interested candidates can apply online. To apply, the applicant must have a valid mobile number and an email ID. Candidate's photo and signature should be scanned and uploaded while applying. The size of the image should be between 10-100 kb and the size of the signature should be between 3-30 kb.  

Application Fee-  


Application fee for each separate post is Rs.1000 (GEN / OBC) and Rs.500 (SC / ST / PWD). 1200 (GEN / OBC) and Rs. 600 (SC / ST / PWD) for a candidate to apply for both the posts. Submit application fee through Debit Crad, Credit Card, Net Banking, Master Card, VISA Card.  

Exam syllabus, time and number of numbers - 


Topics of 1st Paper: 

a) Child Development and Pedagogy (compulsory): 30 Marks 

b) Language I (compulsory): 30 Marks 

c) Language II (compulsory): 30 Marks 

d) Mathematics: 30 Marks 

e) Environmental Studies: 30 Marks  

Total number: 150, Total time: 2.30 hours  

Topics of 2nd Paper: 

i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory): 30 Marks 

ii) Language I (compulsory): 30 Marks 

iii) Language II (compulsory): 30 Marks 

iv) Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teacher): 60 Marks 
OR, 
Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher): 60 Marks  

Total number: 150, Total time: 2.30 hours

CBT (Computer Based Test) will be held from 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022.
