Saksham Scholarship 2021 : Selected candidates will be paid Rs. 50,000 per annum

The 'SAKSHAM  SCHOLARSHIP' has been started by the Central Government. It is learned that this innovative initiative has been taken to motivate more students in technical education. How to apply for this scholarship Discussed here.  

Recently, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a subsidiary of the central government, announced the launch of the SAKSHAM Scholarship for 2021-22 academic year students. Students who are able in different ways will get this facility. Students who are affiliated with a degree or diploma course from an AICTE-controlled institution can apply for this scholarship.  

Date of Application for AICTE Saksham Scholarship:  

According to the notification, enthusiastic and eligible students have to submit the application form by November 30, 2021. Students can visit the official website of AICTE at aicte-india.org for more information.  

Who can apply for AICTE Saksham Scholarship?  

First or second year students of the degree course can apply for the 'SAKSHAM' Scholarship. In that case the educational institution has to be AICTE recognized. Only students with different abilities can apply for this scholarship. However, the disability rate of students should be at least 40%. Candidates have to submit appropriate proof of family income at the time of application.  

Amount of AICTE Saksham Scholarship:  

Selected candidates will be paid Rs. 50,000 per annum. The scholarship will be awarded for a maximum of 3 years for first year students and a maximum of 2 years for second year students.  

Online Application Procedure for AICTE Saksham Scholarship:  

Eligible candidates can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The online application form has to be verified by the students first through the specific institution and then the second part will be verified by the Department of Technical Education. The last day to verify through the organization is December 15, 2021.  

Incomplete or incorrect forms will be rejected and only the completed form will be accepted for the scholarship. No other scholarships, such as stipend beneficiaries, will receive the SAKSHAM Scholarship.
