A total of 6 vacancies will be filled by suitable candidates University Grants Commission said.

Educational Qualifications for UGC Junior Consultant Application:

1. Must have a post graduate degree from any university recognized by the University Grants Commission. Must pass with 55 percent marks.

2. Must have a thorough idea about Distance Education / Online Education.

3. Know how to use MS Office, MS Excel efficiently. It is important to know the proper use of the Internet.

4. Candidates should be comfortable with different jobs.

Age qualification for application for the post of Junior Consultant:

Applicants must be within 35 years of age on the basis of the last date for submission of application. If more, the application will not be accepted.

Contract period for appointment as Junior Consultant:

In this case the selected candidates will be appointed for 6 months. Which could be enhanced on the basis of efficiency and professional conduct, the UGC said. The University Grants Commission has clarified in the appointment statement that the selected candidate may be dismissed from the post for any reason within 6 months.

Salary for Junior Consultant:

RS. 50,000 to Rs. Up to Rs 60,000 monthly salary will be paid, UGC said.
