OPSC has issued a recruitment notification for 1586 posts vacancies

Odisha Public Service Commission has issued a notification announcing the appointment of Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon). Eligible and enthusiastic candidates can apply online.  

According to the notification, a medical officer will be appointed in Group A under the Orissa Department of Health and Family Welfare.  

Application deadline:  

The OPSC has informed that the registration process has started and the candidates have to submit the application form online by August 21, 2021.  

Number of vacancies:  

The total number of posts is 1586.  

Age limit:  

According to the notification, candidates must be between 21 and 37 years of age as on January 1, 2021. Then you can apply for these post.  

Application Fee:  

In this case candidates do not have to pay any fee for application. The Odisha Public Service Commission has given the opportunity to the candidates to apply completely free of cost.  

Educational Qualifications:  

Candidates from government recognized medical colleges should have MBBS or equivalent degree. Candidates can check the official notification of OPSC for more details.  

Recruitment process:  

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test results. The 3 hour written test will have 200 number MCQ question papers. The value of each question will be 1 and the total value will be 200. Exam will be held in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack in Odisha.  

How to apply?  

Candidates must first go to the opsc.gov.in homepage of the official website of OPSC. There you have to go to APPLY ONLINE and NEW USER tab and register your name. Then you have to log in to OPSC portal and complete the application. You need to upload your own photos and documents. One copy of the application form should be printed for future needs.
