RRB NTPC : Refund of examination fee of the first stage candidates, Update bank details

Recently RRB NTPC exam has  been completed. Notice has been issued to update the bank account details for the refund of examination fee of the first stage candidates. Only those who have taken the examination between December 28, 2020 and July 31, 2021 can apply for a refund.  

Applications for the RRB NTPC exam began in 2019. "During the verification, it was found that many candidates had deposited money from the same account," RRB sources said.  

In many cases, the IFSC code has changed with the merger of banks. RRB cannot refund money in any way based on the previous code. As the old IFSC Code is now considered invalid in the case of those banks. As a result, it is necessary to update the bank details in their case. That's why RRB has informed everyone to update the data at once.  

When can I update?  


According to the RRB notice, candidates can apply for bank details in their application form from August 11, 2021 to August 31, 2021. RRB will give candidates a total of 20 days to complete this. In the meantime, you have to update the bank account details from the specific website.  

Candidates who have applied for the RRB exam and submitted the application fee as per the rules and participated in the exam, do not wait any longer and update the bank details now.  

Only one candidate will be refunded per account. Therefore, refunds cannot be taken to everyone's account. As per RRB sources, multiple application fees were deposited from one account, so more than one refund is not possible. The same refund policy from one account will be applicable.
