You can change the background before and after joining Google Meet. The methods in both the fields are discussed below-

Before joining Google Meet:

1. First you open Google Meet. You can see there is a '+' icon, then you have to select it. Then select a file of your choice that will serve as the background.

2. You can also get a free photo gallery at Google Meet. From there you can select any image and use it in the background.

If you want to delete the background, you have to click once on the first frame. Then it will be deleted and you can choose a new one.

After joining Google Meet:

1. First, click on the three dots at the bottom right. Then you will see the 'Change Background' option, you have to select it.

2. Then select the desired image from the menu bar on the right and add it as a background.
